OK, so I guess cuts don't work in comments. Try one in your LJ post though. If you're using Internet Explorer, you can click the link for "rich text" and you'll have a button that gives you a shortcut to start the cut, but you still have to put in the closing tag.
Tried it in another post and it's not working. Officially frustrated. I looked at what happened when I hit the 'rich text' and it's totally confusing to me. You have to remember, I'm totally untrained when it comes to computers and I don't do html or web pages or any of that. I poke buttons in the right order and if it doesn't work, I'm clueless.
When you're in rich text mode, click the button that looks like this (...) and that will open a box for you to put the tag's title in. That's what will show up on the screen for people to click.
If you hover your button over any of the buttons, a window will pop up that tells you what it's for.
Just remember, at the end, put < /ljcut >, but without the spaces.
