Jimmy did great. Loved the opening sequence...which I had to watch at the re-broadcast since they started way early this year. Woots to Jim Parsons and Jane Lynch winning! Boo hiss to so many of the CABLE tv shows winning over some long-time, hard working actors and good shows on REAL tv. I don't think they should be allowed to compete if they are on stations you have pay extra to see like Showtime and HBO. :oP

I actually like quite a few of the dresses, especially the one Jewell wore on the red carpet and the ones worn by Lea Michelle, Jane Lynch and Clair Danes. Totally hated the lampshade worn by January Jones. Both Betty White and Tom Hanks' wife, Rita Wilson, need to fire their stylists. They both could have looked much, much better.

Now I need to check the tv guide and find out when the E Fashion Police are doing their thing. :o)

It's dire out there for squatty petites like myself. Maxi dresses? Not in public, but when they all end up in clearance, I may get a couple for around the house. They are very comfy in hot weather. (Lots of air up there under the skirts LOL!) Chunky necklaces? No. Just don't work on me. The micro minis that are still challenging the maxis. Not with these legs. Menswear? Yeah, I need to look more like a man to go with these menopausal chin hairs. :oP Skinny strap tops? Sorry, I need a bra to hold this rack up off my jelly belly. And the 'let the bra straps show' trend I see I like even less. And who the hell thought long scarves wrapped around your neck in killer heat was a good idea? That might work if you soak it in cold water first.

I'm off to search for a battery run fan I can carry around with me for these hot flashes. Oh, and my homemade baked beans are smelling pretty good. I used the rest of my leftover no-salt bbq sauce and plenty of molasses and more liquid smoke. Hope it tastes as good as it smells.

BTW, I spring cleaned here and got a new layout. Pink. Feels good and girly. :o)
