When I first moved into my house I finally bought a miniature pre-decorated-just-plug-it-in tree that could sit on my mantle. I didn't put it up last year because I was going to be out of town and I don't trust the cats. I haven't put it up this year because I'm going to be out of town and I don't trust the cats. It's no wonder I never feel like it's the holidays - I never get to decorate.
