delphia2ohohohMy BFF here adopted two of the pups from our neighbors purebred black lab who had 6 puppies.

Here's one with the DH so you can see sizes.
This was their second time outside and first time on the snow.
No names yet, but I suggested Oprah & Beyonce. :oD They are just 9 weeks old and their uncle could also be their father, but the owners are not sure as she used to run off now and then. They had taken her to the vet to get her fixed and found out she was preggers. Ten pups but only 6 lived and of the 10, 4 were brown/yellow, so could be throwbacks and pure lab or mix; who knows.
Anyway, these little girls will have a great life as their new mom will spoil them rotten and love them to the ends of their days. She had to put her last pitbull down on Monday, so rescuing these are a timely blessing. She has them in an old playpen she got at the thrift store and has already made their first appointment with the vet. They have a house with a fenced yard and some great dogsitters *grin* to care for them when needed. We went over and cleaned up and fed them this afternoon as she has to work all day without a break today.
