SPRINGTIME IN ALASKA

This is what I woke up to and there is more on the way.

So much for spring.

ETA: For comparison, my sister's blog. She's the one I'll be visiting in Alabama.

That looks just here a few days ago. It was nice and sunny and almost all the snow was gone and then *bam* snow! Next thing I know there is three feet of snow on my front steps and it's freezing outside. *sigh* Definitely not spring quite yet.

Yeah, that was pretty much what happened to us too. My sis up in Anchorage says they have about 15 inches so we'll have more dumped on us today for sure. We've only got 6-8 inches so far. However, 10 more days til I leave for my trip South and 85 degree weather.

*blink*

I wore shorts & Adara Crocs today and required AC in my truck. It was in the 80's.

I seriously need to come visit you. ;)

You need to visit in spring or fall, otherwise you could bump into one of our rare 80 degree days. The interior (like Fairbanks) can get up in the 90's in summer too. But pre-mosquito time in late May, early June is awesome up here.

I defnitely like your sister's pictures better. :)
