Thanks for all the good thoughts for Buddy. He's doing extremely well. The doc took the tube out early and Buddy's healing so fast, I'm a bit worried taking out the sutures might be difficult. I'm still trying to keep him quiet and that involves much sitting in the front room with the tv on or in bed with a book so I'm not getting much done this week. Buddy is having no trouble going up the stairs, jumping on the bed and begging for whatever I'm eating.
We had a warming spell after another dumping of snow so it's turned the entire South Central AK into a huge mess. It rained last night and the roads are all standing water over ice. Horrible. The schools are closed as are many businesses. I just read on FB my library is closed too, but I bet whoever got scheduled are there and working on weeding/repairing/processing anyway. I'm glad I don't have to go in til Friday. I was thinking about sneaking out to see the Hobbit, but I think we'll be waiting for the dvd.
I've been doing my usual things: reading, crafting, etc. Not much else new in my life. I am trying to stay off the net so I'm not shopping or wasting time playing games etc. Finished a gorgeous crystal necklace to wear to our Employee Appreciation Dinner on Feb. 1 plus I adjusted a bonzer new blouse to wear with it. (Always have to tailor my blouses, dang it.) I need to make the matching earrings next.( Pictures behind the cut )
